Welcome to the MukiBaum Accessibility Centre
Established in 2011, we are a Toronto non-governmental organization which provides inclusive, community-focused support to children and adults with autism and other complex disabilities and their families. The MukiBaum Accessibility Centre is dedicated to Providing the Key to Accessing Ability. Such life change improves quality of life and thus, enables all family members to actualize their full potential in spite of any challenging disabilities. By exploring their passions and talents, the MukiBaum Accessibility Centre, ultimately enables them to overcome their challenges and become full contributing members of society.
Our programs are unique because:
- We encourage family – including parents, caregivers and siblings – to participate in our Community Programs.
- Our philosophy includes the Multi-Focal Approach, which focuses on the whole person and not just his or her disabilities.
- We do not require a formal diagnosis in order to register for our low-cost programs, allowing for important early intervention.
A message from our Honorary Patron,
Hon. David C. Onley, O.Ont, Lieutenant Governor Emeritus
